broken record here.
search ca wanting the supreme court to stop arizona law. do to it will send illegal aliens here from there.
sac news paper, give it a search ,funniest thing i have read in a long time
well, when they refuse to 'correct' the situation they leave us no choice but to 'be' a broken record, lol
anyway, in searching the issue as you suggested, i read that 10 other states have joined ca in asking that the az law not be upheld for they too fear the az illegal immigrants will go to their state. it seems no one wants them but the federal government who demands we pay the big bucks to the federal government so they arrange to see that those illegally here get fed, clothed, housed, medical treatment and educated; and so the federal government can expand its power and size over all citizens. so the federal governmenmt is not really doing it out of compassion for those poor criminals but out of greed for more power and control.
it makes me sick the way they talk about the 'human rights' of criminals, including the criminals whose 'only crime' is being here illegally. what about our 'human right' to be "left alone"? On the issue of Individual Privacy, See the Dissenting Opinion by Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis (Olmstead v. United States 277 U.S. 438 (1928)): "The makers of our Constitution undertook to secure conditions favorable to the pursuit of happiness. They recognized the significance of man's spiritual nature, of his feelings, and of his intellect. ... They sought to protect Americans in their beliefs, their thoughts, their emotions and their sensations. They conferred, as against the Government, the right to be let alone -- the most comprehensive of rights, and the right most valued by civilized men. To protect that right, every unjustifiable intrusion by the Government upon the privacy of the individual, whatever the means employed, must be deemed a violation of the Fourth Amendment." Unfortunately, today, corrupt public officials justify just about anything that will get them re-elected.
In the same Dissent, Justice Brandeis wrote, "Decency, security and liberty alike demand that government officials shall be subjected to the same rules of conduct that are commands to the citizen. ... existence of the government will be imperiled if it fails to observe the law scrupulously. Our Government … teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the Government becomes a lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. To declare that ... the end justifies the means -- to declare that the Government may commit crimes ... would bring terrible retribution." Is Justice Brandeis correct in his analysis of human behavior? How Corrupt is the Mexican government? What impact has that corrupt government had on its citizens, and its good neighbor, America? How Corrupt is the American government which reconizes 'rights' of non-citizens over and above its own citizens?
Think about it, folks. Think long and hard before you vote for another smiling face you think is telling you what you want to hear; rather than telling you THE TRUTH.
