Trying to recall. Didn't one or both of you get upset a few days ago, about a thread started about Tiger's Ex, saying it was about Tiger's personal life?
That talk about what happened more than 2 1/2 yrs ago in his personal life needs to end.

I haven't mentioned his personal life. What are you talking about? I don't see Statman mentioning it either.

Like I said, "Trying to recall" could have been 2 others  (?)

I don't have any idea what you mean. IMHO, Nov 2009 was when one golfing Tiger vanished and a new one finally emerged.

I fail to see how the death of a loved one has any comparison to this. Tigers life was not turned upside down due to an unfortunate death of a loved one.
I'm not being judgmental just honest.

Enormous golfing success Pre Nov 2009.  Almost none Post Nov 2009.

The topic is about Tigers % winning. I think it's worth while differentiating between the two distinct ages of Tiger. I've no interest in the salacious aspects. I'm talking about golf.

Maybe I didn't make it very clear what I was thinking. It was just the fact that in each one's life there is often a dramatic event that haunts us and we will mark time by that event. No matter what that event is we often mark time by it. We go back to 2000 and comment about how well Tiger played. Or some great putt he made in a particular tournament. I don't receive this as a judgmental comment. Just an honest opinion. Anyway, it will not keep me up tonight thinking about it.

That's true......but tramatic events have the same effect on the human psyche.  We mourn the loss of a loved one.  We mourn the loss through divorce, through severe illness, addictions, and other tramatic events in our lives.

Being able to pack the past away and begin life anew is the first step in the recovery process.

Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it. -Helen Keller

The comparison is getting messed up. The trauma of a death would inspire compassion. Why is anyone comparing death to what happened in 2009?  I'm trying to look at this from a 100% golfing stat. Huge vwinning percentage before. Nearly nothing after.  It's easy to see the root of the problem.

It's all very well  throwing  in illness and death etc. If that had had been the cause Tiger would  have received huge compassion. it didn't happen like that.

What has Helen Keller got to do with a winning percentage?
