As a Red Sox fan, my greatest baseball memory was in 2004, when the Sox were down three games to none to the Yankees in the ALCS, then pulled off the greatest comeback in baseball history to win the series, then swept St. Louis to win the World Series. I guess that's probably not your greatest memory...LOL.

NO, MY GREATEST MEMORY IS THAT RED SOX COULDN'T WIN FOR 86 YEARS.

HE IS THE GREATEST CLOSER EVER.

I WAS WATCHING THE GAME YESTERDAY, YANKEES WERE AT 11, THERE IS NO WAY THEY ARE GONNA BRING MARIANO AND I CHANGED THE CHANNEL.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THAT.

I lived in St. Louis for a long time, so after the yankees, they are my second favorite team. Your soxxx did two numbers on me that year. Because I grew up in Texas,  I don't have that full yankee- vs redsox view of things.  My brother-in-law (a life-long redsox fan) absolutely hates the yankees, so we cannot talk baseball at family gatherings. I gave him a yankee hat for his birthday one year and he used it to start that BBQ fire for our cutout.

 

 

 

That's it, his record of 605 saves earned him a segment on NBC's nightly news with Brian Williams.

But, I was not surprised since Brian Williams broadcast nightly from "the Big Apple".         :)

THEY'VE RED SOX HAT ON WHILE JOGGING, BOATING DRIVING, TALKING, SHOPPING, AIRPORT, BUS STATION, USA, ABROAD, EVERYWHERE.

THEY LOOK ANGRY.

WHEREAS YANKEE FANS SOMETIMES WEAR T-SHIRTS, SOMETIMES HAT, THEY'RE HAVING FUN.

MAYBE THE YANKEES ARE EARLY IN THE SEASON, BUT

I MAKE SURE TO WATCH THE 9TH INNING BECAUSE MARIANO IS ABOUT TO RETIRE IN A YEAR OR SO.
