Had to laugh during the Morning Drive. When starting their Fantasy Picks, Win McMurry Said she was picking Tiger to win because Micelli said he didn't know why Tiger is playing this week.

Yeah......from the same Micelli who trampled Tiger for not playing more!!

For clarification...Micelli is a GC contributor only, not a full time employee.  He works for Golf Digest as a senior writer. 

Knew there was something I didn't like about Golf Digest.

When Miceli talks about Tiger, Tiger is d---ed if he does and d---ed if he doesn't.

Micelli just like to stir the pot......always complained that Tiger had very short non-informative answers to questions.....now Tiger is opening up and giving full reponses to questions that are appropriate.  And then Micelli has to find some other to deliver the preverbial punch below the belt.  What a cad!!

I read some of the posts in response to Doug Fergusons' piece on the presser on GC website.....99% in support of Tiger :-)))

Yeah ,I remember one presser ,where Mecelli said to Tiger" You went from being the best player on the planet to the worse player on the planet, how do you rectify that? Tiger answer  to him was ,"I may be the worse player on the planet , but I can still beats you!

I thought that was great! You go Tiger !!!

Kind-a laughed at John Hawkins on Morning Drive today. Think he said it was about 10 years (don't remember the year) ago that Tiger was doing his dutiful interviews for the press, then later John saw Tiger at the driving range and told Tiger he can say nothing at an interview as good as he plays golf. And that they both laughed about it.

Has Miceli ever played golf ?

Hawk can be pointed at times with Tiger.....but deep down he has a lot of respect for "the guy in the red shirt"......
