Regarding Doha Round Negotiations, is there any compulsory legal means- as treaties- thar forces States to reduce the agricultural financial assistance? On this respect, where can i find information? Thanks!!!

There are no "cumpulsory legal means" in the WTO rules. Each country is allowed to break trade rules but could wind up facing punitive measures should another country complain.
Doha aims to reduce agricultural subsidies but this does not obligate countries to reduce their subsidies even if they were to sign Doha.
The WTO rules are supportive of predatory trade practices and against protectionist trade practices. In other words, the WTO rules are crafted in a way to allow economically stronger countries to dominate weaker countries.

Recently time in mass media Vietnam inform so much FTA in ASEAN . To day The President of Korea visit Vietnam .They signed that Korea agree Vietnam is market economy. In Mass media Vietnam the IMF -and Wb do not support subsidies policy . Start meeting of Vietnam Asembly , they discuse about Need or not the second econimic stimulation package.Some persons do not support , some persons request to apply Vietnam raising the compaign" Vietnamese person buys Vietnamese goods ".But in daily act people said : we buy the good quality and cheap good ,we don't care about made in from ... |

Solution for development TUNA fishery
Agroviet 11/11/2009 : To find solutions for TUNA fishery , the sea man in Central region and VASEP send the request to MARD to organize the National association for TUNA fishery .This Association will find the links between Owner SHIP and sea man and sea food enterprises for sell TUNA and protect sea man in TUNA exploitation
In fact the biggest of TUNA fishery in Vietnam is: Vietnam is not member of WCPFC, and Fishery in Vietnam still not receives the Certificate for sustainable fishery. Vietnam has to have the steps to join to
WCPFC and registrant the MSC certificate for TUNA
The experts in fishery, the TUNA product Vietnam can completive with other countries, and the build trademark for TUNA is urgent work .So the fishery sector need to help apply new technology, equipment and processing, and advertisement, International standards for TUNA .Government should extend the subsidies for sea man to buy new equipment for sea food exploitation and increasing the productivity of exploitation
The survey show that : In Vietnam sea area , the TUNA have capacity about 50.000 tone , every year the exploitation about 15000 -17000 tone .But this time TUNA fishery meet many difficulties because of STORMS .By the Statistic , in 10 months 2008 ,Vietnam export 36.000 tone TUNA , achieved 118 millions USD , reduces to compare with last year

The textile producers in Thai land and Vietnam propose that The South economic corridor in trade area of Mekong region is transport for textile in region.
Recently the survey implemented by JETRO in about 100 enterprises in Thailand , Vietnam and Lao , Kampuchea , Myanmar and Singapore show that : the textile production will developed more if we organize the corridor for textile industry bases on the project labor distribution between Thailand, Vietnam , Kampuchea, Lao, Myanmar .Those countries accounted in market like area for textile , other products and agricultural – forest area .
This survey was carry with the needs for assessment the strategy of Japan companies and out Japan for investment and development of Industrial in Mekong region.
This is the connection in and out of Mekong region when the FDI from Japan to ASEAN and Mekong region increasing to 6 billions USD.
The textile producers in Thailand said they transport textile from Bangkok to Phnom penh thought roads. In future it can be by the sea from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City .It save time for transport.
It the Roads will be building from Bangkok to Rang gun, same factories from Thailand and Vietnam will be move to Lao, Campuchia and Myanmar
