WTO has been the prime mover of business bilateral relation of the member nations, but developing countries of limited resouces can't match the develop nations in term of investment. It seem that only favor nations gains from WTO. The dwarf economy of the poor nations remain stgnant and dormant economy forever. I think WTO is for the rich nations the G-7 in particular will benefit from WTO, the poor countries remains poor in the present globalization. Please post this comment........

hello. I would like to become a member of discussion on this group, because I am a student at a Faculty of European Economic Integration so i am interested in  finding out news on the World Trade Organization, even for making a disertation, at the end of my student period. All in all, I would be grateful if you received me on this discussion group.
Yours sincerely, Andreea D

bonjour,

I think that the WTO was and still in the direction wanted by the developed countries, and yet those are not yet satisfied.  Indeed, if those make recourse to the regional agreements it is by a dissatisfaction of the rules of  WTO (in any case they want more).

On the other hand, on side of the developing countries (a majority),they still need a special treatment to reach an international level of competitiveness.  Thus, a discrimination will always exist as long as the countries low in a need
