Good Afternoon Mr. Sherman,

I am one of 16 football moms heading up an extensive fundraiser.  The team we are trying to raise money for is The Wood Dale, Bensenville Bandits, these are 12 and 13 year old boys. We are calling ourselves the Bandits MOMS (Moms on a Mission).  Last Friday, our coaches told our boys they made it to the National Championships in Orlando, Florida.  However, we have since found out our organization does not have enough money to pay for the boys.    We need to pay for 16 boys, and 1 parent to accompany their child to Florida.  The boys have to leave by December 1.  My goal is to raise $10,000.  Enough to pay for each child, and one parent. These boys have practiced 3 to 5 days a week since July.  They have endured some heart breaking losses, and some great victories.  They have endured injuries as well.  Some of these boys are going to high school next year and for them this is like the Bears going to the  Super Bowl.  The cost for this trip is great.  I'm hoping to generate some awareness in hopes of getting some help to get our boys to Florida. 

We are going to be out in the community on Saturday from 9 am - Noon around the Wood Dale - Bensenville area.  The whole organization will be helping us.  We have just about 14 days to do this.  Talk about pressure!
