| I was at Wrigley for the soggy weekend... proving my die hard status true and true, lol. It was the strangest feeling I have experienced at Wrigley. I've never been to a game this late in the year in which we were out of the race. Couple that with terrible weather, and there was like 8 people in the stands. still a good time, however. Pretty crazy to think with today's performance, Randy Wells is the era king on our pitching staff, at 3.05. Lilly finished at 3.10. I would have liked Gorzelanny and samardzija to have finished on a higher note heading into the offseason. The playoff scheduling is crazy right now in the NL. All 4 teams within a game of each other, coming into today. Many different scenarios can happen for who plays who. Big Cardinals loss today.. I don't care who plays who, but I want the Cards to have to play on the road throughout the playoffs. Phillies currently down 3 runs. Rocks/Dodgers play later tonight. should be fun to watch. Hopefully Demp gives us a solid outing to close out this dreadful season tomorrow afternoon. |
