| The Sox have not had a real centerfielder since Rowand. Now I am not saying the Sox should have paid the big money to Rowand or Hunter. They weren't worth it. But in four years Kenny couldn't trae for decent CF like Byrd, Texas, Morgan, Pitt, Lewis, SF, Schumaker, Cards, Cabrera, Yanks. One of those guys would be a an improvement on what the Sox have been trotting out there for four years. I'll even take Tavaras from the Reds. When is ot time to give this Kenny did a great job theory to rest? To count on Fields, Contreras, Colon and no one in centerfield? And now PODS is back in CF? he couldn't play the position very well anymore three years ago. Those days of getting lucky for Kenny are over. |
