Living in Detroit, but a native Chicagoan, it was great to see the Blackhawks hang through a tough two periods with only six total shots on goal and come out in the third period to outplay the Red Wings.  It was a different team that came out in the third, despite being down by one goal heading into the period.

I like the chemistry on this team with a mixture of very good young talent and a good number of veterans who are buying into the coach's system.  It seems like there's a real team effort, which we haven't seen much in the past.  It may be too early to talk playoffs, but I think this team...even though it will still have its moments because it's young...will finally give us something to cheer about in April.
