Living in Detroit, I knew Robert Lang was a good player and would be a good pickup for the Blackhawks.  He only left because of the salary structure in Detroit, which ended up being good news for the Hawks.  I hope he keeps producing.  He'll be a very positive effect on the young talent.

As in the past, it seems the Hawks are having a hard time scoring goals.  However, at least early on, they are winning games instead of giving up the last-minute goal and overtime loss.  Hopefully the news on Havlat coming back soon is true, and he can boost the scoring.

I know it's only a few games, but I'm again excited about being a Blackhawks fan.  I only hope I'm not speaking too soon.
