A nice win last night against Detroit after a pretty boring loss against the Wild.
The power play still needs someone, anyone who can get the puck into the offensive zone.
Habibhulin did some great work in both games, and got rewarded last night. I think you'll see a more competitive Bhulin wall this year with a more competitive team in front of him.
It's time to count Havlat out as a big part of the future for the Hawks. He's just too injury prone, or as I heard it put Friday on X-M radio, he's made of porcelin in a sport that doesn't cater to brittle players.
When he is in the lineup, he'll be a big asset, but if we can get something for him in February or March, take it.
Now the focus will shift to Toews, and how he does can make or break the Hawk season, I think.
Lastly, if we can finally get some home games televised, I won't have to listen to the damn Red Wing announcers when I watch the games on Dish. |
