If I recall correctly, this littel blurb from todays trades contains several hot buzzwords in trop's entertainment vocabulary:
NETWORK NEWS
NBC has ordered six more episodes of Chuck but declined to give Trauma any more episodes beyond the original 13. Chuck is now expected to debut for the season in January. At press time, Trauma had yet not been pulled from the schedule, but that could happen soon.....ABC has signed a deal with the producers of Desperate Housewives to keep the show on the air until 2013. But the cast members have contracts only until 2011, so their defection could still shorten the program’s run....Scrubs returns to the ABC line-up on December 1, with back-to-back episodes from 9-10PM. The show has undergone a complete overhaul, even moving out of the hospital setting. John C. McGinley and Donald Faison are back, but Zach Braff will only be an occasional guest star during the season.
Preceding Scrubs at 8:30PM on 12/1 is a new animated special, Prep & Landing, featuring the voice of Scrubs alumna Sarah Chalke. After the first week, Scrubs leads into Better Off Ted, debuting 12/8 at 9:30.....__________________________________________________
