| We probably shouldn't have gone at midnight and sat next to the giant speakers. I usually don't mind loud -- in fact I prefer it to missing one syllable --- but for whatever reason, we weren't in the mood for that much noisy unrelentless ugliness. I saw it yesterday and all I can say is..... WOW!!!! I thought it was one of the best movies I've EVER seen. I was captured from the beginning. What a movie, what a story and the acting is superb. I thought the Gollum, Smegel thing was fantastic. My favorite part was Gandalf's battle with the horned creature in the beginning. I have to say it again, WOW!

Two Towers was a great movie. I definately hope it gets Best Picture at the Oscars this time. They need to award epic movies like this. Definately more action and a better movie than the first. The first was great so the Two Towers was great great. Maybe the third will be great great great...LOL.

I saw both FotR and TTT for the first time today. It's wonderful that Christmas vacation gives you more time to actually do things you've been meaning to do.
I think TTT was a wonderful movie. Gimli, Legolas, and Gollem added comic relief that I thoroughly enjoyed, though it was light comic relief.
The battle scene was very well done and I am glad that the elves showed up. I am completely in love with their character. Gandalf showing up was good, also.
Frodo began to get annoying after awhile partly because I was getting wrapped up in the Aragorn/Gimli/Legolas part of the story. The other part was because I thought he was being somewhat idiotic when he was so close to the wraith.
Gollem was portrayed very well. I loved his multiple personalities and was glad because of the comic relief it brought.
All in all, very good movie.

I thought The Two Towers was great!I am very very choosey about the movies I attend.The Two Towers definately brings out good and evil.I thought it was very violent but because of the whole meaning of the plot it had it be.I would NEVER let a child of mine younger than 12 see the movie.

| Oh my gosh! That was the best movie EVER! I loved smeagol! he was so funny, always arguing with himself. He was kinda sad really. I also loved the battles. There was tons of violence, but absolutely no guts and gore! I think my favorite part was when Legolas(played by Orlando Bloom) jumped on an Orc shield and rode down some stairs shooting at the Orcs. Ooooh! I have another favorite! When Gimli had to be thrown across that gully or gap or whatever by Aragorn. that was funny. ------------------------------

Like the first movie, you don't know that you've been sitting there for three hours.
It was incredible, not a single dull moment.
About the first movie:
I saw 'A Beautiful Mind' and it was a truly awesome movie. But NO WAY did it deserve to beat out FOTR. Yes, it was an awesome movie, one of the best there is, but it sure wasn't better than FOTR.
