I was researching something else and it hit me.

How did all these Swedes and other Immigrants get here??? By Boat!!!  There were no planes

They would have come thru Ellis Island.(no, don't google it, no connection)

.And if the first clues are leading us thru history, That would have been an important part. I had a Great-Granmother from Norway who died on the passage.

some by boat but most by wagon trains.

By wagon train from the east coast.

But by boat from Sweden to Amerika.
