yesterday i get a call from a friend, he asks me if i remember hearing about "jane's" extremely scary & dangerous boyfriend? of course i did, everyone knew to avoid even meeting this guy because a look misinterpeted by him would get you at least a stay in ICU, if you are lucky.  the terms sociopath & homicidal comes to mind. so, my friend continues to tell me he is in the paper, police are looking for him for an assault in Roseville over the weekend.  I look in the PP - nothing. Strib - the story but with no picture of the guy. 

personally, i think this is a big deal.  really big.  the guy did 12 years in prison for murdering a guy he met while in juvenial prison.  last weekend, he forced his way into an apt. and slit the neck of a woman there.  he is considered armed and dangerous.  why is this not, at least, in both papers?  front page of the metro section & on the news?  is he not a active threat to the community?  i think we should be kept aware of these things - am i the only one?  i'm seriously freaking out
