3,759 US chumps have died in Iraq; 756 in 2007; 17 in September.

84 US chumps died in Iraq in August.

1,099 US chumps died in Iraq after 8/31/06 and before 9/1/07. That's the most US chumps to die in any 12 consecutive months of the war.

The US fatality rate for the entire war rose again in August of 2007. The fatality rate for the entire war has risen now for 13 straight months.

1,099 US chumps died in Iraq after 8/31/06 and before 9/1/07. Get it? That means an average of more than 3 US chumps died each day in the year which ended 8/31/07, since 3 x 365 = 1,095.

739 chumps dead through the end of August of 2007 = 739 chumps dead in 243 days, more than 3 per day.

(739/243) * 365 = 1,110 dead projected to die in Iraq in 2007.

739 dead in 243 days of 2007 = 3.04 US chumps dead per day in 2007.

This rate this year suggests that the 850th US chump, a new annual record for this war, will die on the 279th day of the year, which is October 6.

Hopefully, the feckless Congress will vote a huge new supplemental appropriation for Iraq on October 6.

If 70 or more US chumps die in Iraq in September, then the fatality rate for the entire war will have risen for the 14th straight month.

776 dead by September 14 means

776 dead in 257 days, which means

850 dead in 282 days which means

850th death will occur on October 9

Hopefully, the feckless Congress will vote a huge new supplemental for Iraq on October 9.
