Here is what I don't get, everyone always wants greateness, but the 96 Bulls are a rare team. We are not going to come out and be that good with the current roster. The difference is MJ had a Scottie and Rodman. A top 75 player of all time and one of the greatest rebounders of all time. That's what i think people fail to realize when the moan about the PG play. We don't have to have a traditional point guard, but what we do need is a Karl Malone, Carlos Boozer type physical presence in the middle. Z is soft,Andy is soft, Gooden is soft, and Jones isn't experienced enough. No wonder why the Cavs tried so hard to get Udonis Haslem 2 years ago. Bottom line is Mike Brown can't coach Z into being lazy on D, or he can't coach the puss out of Gooden. It is what it is with them. Until we address that we will struggle. Yes, we do get gashed by PG's but at the same time if we had a presence in the middle they would still be too intimidated to drive to the hole. Instead they know they are going to get a touch foul from our soft front line.

lol.."coach the puss out of gooden"  classic!  drew's the grey goose king man, maybe he needs to keep a 5th in his locker then he could come out with that liquored heart.

i agree though. this roster doesn't help 1 bit. some will say that's danny ferry's fault but i can't even say that. i do think he could be better especially after flying to brazil for AV. that was just dumb but our roster is what it is.

Man look what we need to do is just buy out Damon Jones contract and get him off the team. A guy that shows so much disrespect doesn't need to be a part of the team. He (Ferry) needs to clean house of all the guys that don't wanna be here. Instead of trying to trade for Mike Bibby aka the older slower Dan Gibson, and his $14M we could either trade for Damon Stoudamire or just wait till he is bought out. The Grizz have a few young PG's they want to play so getting a vet like Damon helps. We have to be willing to take on a bad contract to get better. I would even considering trading Hughes, yes I said Hughes straight up for Ben Wallace and his bloated contract. Why you ask? because we need a player with some heart. We would have 2 guys that can score in the low post in Z and Drew and if you add Ben you better believe we would have the defensive presence that can cover up our PG woes on defense.

i would be cool with every move you mentioned. i will say that d jones has been a constant professional in light of the bullish he's going through here. dudes a nomad and i really didn't want him but he worked hard last year year and this year and got jerked. he hasn't lashed out in the media or anything like that. i don't dislike him like i did in his first season.

i don't want mike bibby either. stays hurt ala LH, really doesn't play any d and his offensive numbers have been on the decline. plus my former college roomate lives in sacremento and he says bibbs and his entourage cause trouble in the clubs out there. not needed here. if we were to make that move somehow, i think he help in running the offense but that's it.

i can't believe that they deactivate d stoudamire like that but i think MB is too stubborn to back down from his love of big guards. i think that's a bit foolish. if you can play, you can play no matter what size.

and dude you really think someone would take LH off our hands even with the swapping of bad contracts. i emailed brian windhourst of the ABJ about that and he said all he hear's is that GMs keep turning danny ferry down. again i'm down with every move you mentioned, i just see don't it happening.

ben wallace here? we go to the finals again with him IMO

You have got to be kidding me!! DJ a professional? This guy has been saying he wants to be traded to reporters. He was singing about being traded to a Chritmas Carrol, and he has refused to go into a game because it was garbage time. You call that professional?

As i told you via email yesterday I think we can probably trade for Artest and Bibby but we would have to take on the bad contract of Kenny Thomas to offset the bad contract that Hughes has. So between Bibby, Artest, and Thomas we have to send back about $28M. Hughes makes $12M, Snow makes about $7, Gooden makes about $7 then I you have to add a first round pick in there but i would ask for two secon round picks also. I could really care less about Bibby but getting Artest would be huge for this team.

churp churp churp....i hear nothing but crickets in here. i find it interesting that there's fire mike brown banter when we lose while missing 3 starters and our #1 bench player. yet when we go on a tear like we're on now no one has anything to say. best record in the NBA since december 25th. and i don't want to hear that its because of lebron. MB's got a solid rotation going because the guys he's going to are producing. its actually a fine job to be getting production from the likes of the talent on this team. we have 1 starter. name one guy on our team that would start somewhere else besides LBJ. and while i still feel MB is still learning he's doing a great job right now. i guess until we lose i'll have to continue listening to these crickets. yeah fire mike brown imediately

This post is so dumb I shouldn't even respond to it. Very interesting it comes after a PHX loss. Still we have the best record in the NBA since December 25th. A coach who helped us win 50 times for the last 2 seasons with 1 starter and a bunch of journeymen. Yet he gets them to play defense. But obviously you don't have a clue so I'll leave it at that. And I won't bother posting a link to the Cavs salaries.
