| That's some sh*t with SEPTA. They have a tentative agreement, but not enough votes to pass it. Here's my suggestion Rendell FIRE THEM ALL. |

This is just confirming what everyone already knows. The MAC is equally as good. "...that rib's gotta get sticky" "In this world nothing can be certain, except death and taxes. That, and SEPTA going on strike every couple of years." - Spicy McHagis |

Hormel Foods had a strike like this in 1985. They hired outside of the Union and guess what? all striking employees were out of a job. SEPTA should follow suit. | That's easier said then done. You would have to replace thousands of employees very quickly. The problem is also training. I have very mixed feelings on unions. My father was a dock worker and a union man. He made a good living because of it. I also find unions to be very archaic. As far as what is going on with SEPTA from all I read they appear to be very greedy. In a bad economy they have the nerve to ask tax payers to fund pension that were lost due to the stock market crashing. My IRA isn't worth what is was two years ago, no one can help me get it back. When the stock market corrects itself I will regain some of it. Those are the facts of life. |

| What's official? All big 10 teams are playing each other, meaning you can't compare anything. |
