I'm curious as to how everyone discovered the forum, and/or why they started posting on here?

I'll go first: I've always read the sports section of philly.com (since I was 13, or so), and one day I stumbled upon the forum at the bottom of the page. It was during training camp in 2006 and Hank Baskett was lighting it up. I was so pumped about Baskett back then, trying to wash away the memory of Team Obliterator...been hooked ever since...

I'm in the same boat as you. I started posting on sports forums in general when I got to college and starting posting on the UMD forum. I read philly.com every day and just randomly stumbled onto the fact that their was a forum here too and just started posting.

Being out of the city I originally tried PE.com looking for some Eags talk and someone mentioned this site...it's been my Eags home every since.

I think it'd be safe to assume that this forum gives you more than your fill of negativity...

I was kind of being sarcastic there, but its a good place to swap ideas and gain some insight. The whole mcnabb garbage is bringing it down. You can criticize anyone on the team but the qb here, do tat and you'll have to respond to 300 posts (LOL)

I think some of the criticism AIMED at McNabb gets a little carried away, especially when you consider most of the people on here have never played QB nor truly understand the position and how difficult it is to play...regardless, that's not aimed at you b/c I've never caught you making absurd anti-McNabb comments...in my book, criticizing his accuracy is fair game, and even his leadership can be questioned in some cases (I think he's a solid leader, but I can understand the argument both ways)...as for it always being McNabb's fault in big games??? That's a joke...

Joined end of october in 2005. Which I think was close to the time when TO got suspended. This place was a madhouse then, haha.

I've been a Philly fan living outside of Philly my whole life. I needed to reaffirm my shattered faith in Philly spots with other Philly fans.

Oh man, I can only imagine...who did the majority of the forum lean towards at the time, Don or T.O.? Or split down the middle...?

i wwanted them (fo) to re sign the guy, give him some coin and move on before it got to the point where it was ugly, but the birds are the birds and they stuck to their guns.

It sucked too because he produced here, big time, he and don had an instant chemistry.

Hmm.... Probably an even split. Maybe a little lean towards Don.

Honestly I think most people thought that TO started it and was the main person at fault, but that Don could have and should have done more to try to patch it up.
