Baskett was probably the best blocking WR we've had on this team in years.

As far as Basketts production...look at his starts...when thrown to....big numbers...when not thrown to...small numbers. You can't catch what doesn't come.

and here's the part people really need to get their heads around....

sometimes Maclin won't make the catch...every now and then the defender might even make a play on the ball. It's pass....risk vs reward. All we can hope is that the QB gives the receiver a chance to make the play.

he was a 3rd, maybe 4th receiver on the chargers this year. he was a starter quality receiver. at this point he is almost like baskett. who is saying he is a "stud" receiver at this point in his career?

the better example would be when he was good, i.e. when the chargers traded for him, and he was inserted right into the starting lineup. he was better than the other guys, now he's not.

i believe it is o-line issues. there are maybe 3-4 rbs head and shoulders above in the league at any given time, but a ton of them get monster numbers because the line is opening holes. i would never pick one in the first round with those contracts.

i believe the shanahan broncos proved that.

LT is not the same LT, but he can still hit a hole when its there.
