Just remember that name every time some of you guys wanna rip Jason Peters for not being flawless... He might not of been a monster against the Giants. But if King is in there, its a hell of a lot worse. |

The next two games for Peters will be huge as to figuring out what type of playoff push our team COULD have. goin up vs DeMarcus Ware and then Merriman an Co in the next two wks is crucial. If he has two MAN BEAST run blocking games, we may have found ourselves a road grater. 3-4 D's have to play on their heels if they're getting punched in the face by 350lb men "The SPORT SAVANT"--NOT Jason "Avant's" fan club President ============================================== The Phillies send a message every once in a while when (The Phillies) lose a couple of games, then start up a big series. They send a message like, "Don't even think about it." They are so good it's scary. |

If Ware has one weakness, its he sucks against the run. He got blown off the line twice against the Ravens last year when they broke off those two big runs.. This Oline is better then that when it comes to run blocking. Its all about Reid not having a passing relapse. |

I think we're talking a little more than not being flawless. but yeh the depth...may not be depth. |

The gnats got caught a couple times trying to attack Justice and Cole. I think the run to Weaver was an audible...but we all know McNabb never does that. 13-9 lost to Raiders means season's over boys....we're just fighting for draft status now. |

i'm almost certain that the weaver run was a mcnabb audible. if mcnabb can play like he did last sunday every week, we have a legitimate super bowl-caliber team. ********* Of course the Tonner works, do you think Genny Cream Ale grows on trees? |

Right call too. gnat's overloaded the strong side....so run weak side. Once Weaver popped the LOS there wasn't much left to stop him. I wonder if I'll get anyone calling me an idiot over giving 5 credit for possibly making a good read. |

"If Ware has one weakness, its he sucks against the run. He got blown off the line twice against the Ravens last year when they broke off those two big runs.." Do you do any research before making up crap? Both runs by the Ravens were away from Ware. Making comments that are easily proved wrong hurts your credibility. Below is the video evidence. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFodpSwgK0Q In this video Ware is lined up on the left side of the line. The play goes to Anthony Spencer's side on the right. Spencer and Brady James miss the tackle. Meanwhile, Ware beats his guy on the other side of the line and lamost gets to McClain for about a 5 yard loss on the play. Ware almost made an incredible play on this run. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RoCPJ9AJ0Tk&feature=related Again, McGahee goes a little right of the middle of the line on his run. Ware was on the left side and playing the outside. Anthony Spencer, Marcus spears, and Jay Ratliff were responsible. Especially watch how #96 (right DE Spears) was knocked off the ball. |

You are so right about people ripping Peters or anyone else when they don't have great games. Although I am still concerned about the play from the LT position and the amount of money they payed this guy, I think in the long run, it will pay off. Especially when his knee gets better. One thing about Dunlap too. Just remember Winston Justice. It took this guy 3 to 4 years to finally get it. Hopefully, Dunlap will get it too and the team will be better off for it. |

Good points. Winston Justice did show that despite a terrible game, you can still come back and be an ok player. The problem with King though is he's looked as bad in Training camp as he is now. You'd think he'd improve just a little. As for Peters, hes gotta be broken in. The Eagles coaches had said from the very beginning that as good as Peters has been in the past that hes raw still. They are working on his technique and such and it doesnt take overnight to adapt to that. So hes gonna make mistakes. |

You blamed Ware for 2 plays that he had nothing to do with. I was just showing you that you were wrong. Here is the skinny on Dallas' defense. If you want to run the ball then run toward Spencer's side which is usually the right side. Spencer has a tendency of getting too far up the field and gets out of his lane often. Just about every big running play that you see against Dallas goes to the right. Ware is actually good against the run despite what you say. Teams seldom get good runs to the left (Ware's side). |
