After McCoy scored on his long TD, game was over. Vick still didn't get the nod to finish the game. If the plan is to showcase him for a pick, there wasn't a better time to give him some PT than today. What's going on?

Exactly what I was thinking. We will need him in Dallas.

I saw Mike Vick in the game at the end. No need to antagonize the giants by trying to put up more points. He simply came in to close it out.

I don't have a problem with him playing in the fourth quarter when the game is out of hand. If they get a pick for him, that's cool. But I really don't like him on the team unless McNabb is playing poorly and they use him in the wildcat. I always thought he was way overrated as a QB. Maybe the most overrated in history.

IMO, it all depends on why they picked him up in the first place. If he's here to showcase, and get other teams interested in him for a trade, then screw hurting the Giants feelings about piling on...let him throw it. If that's not why he's here, then why is he?

He's not taking over for McNabb, he's not taking over for Kolb, it's been a total waste for him to be here, from what I see.

They are going to unviel the Vick package.

I wish that's what they did, let him play in the 4th. But they didn't. Him being here means Baskett isn't. That's fine if there's a plan for it, but we've already lost Curtis for the year to injury, and traded Gibson for Witherspoon. Any other WR injuries this year, and we're thin as hell. Why? So Vick can get a carry or two a game? It makes no sense to me.

It's not about "hurting the Giant's feelings". It's about what purpose does it serve to risk injury to try and score more points when the game is clearly decided, AND, why give a divisional opponent any MORE reason to be motivated for future games by ATTEMPTING to run the score up.

AR isn't going to do that...and if you don't like Vick on the team it's duly noted.

Whatever the Vick package is, there was no need to unveil it yesterday. We still have four divisional games left.

Exactly. I think Reid is saving it for a close game.

What Vick package are you referring too, and why wouldn't they break it out versus Washington (division opponent) when the going was tough?

Remember, Dallas is only a bigger game to us, to them it's just another division rival.

Remember, I prefaced my statement by saying if there is a package. If so, there was no need to bring it out against Washington. Although the offense did not play particularly well, we were never in danger of losing the game, so extraordinary measures were not necessary.

I don't think they would waste their time developing a "Vick Package". Even if they did, I haven't seen enough out of him to want to even install it. I would rather they just let DJax take those snaps. He's 5x's the playmaker Vick is at this point in Vick's career.

"Although the offense did not play particularly well, we were never in danger of losing the game, so extraordinary measures were not necessary."

Two things here. One, based on the offense struggling as much as it did, wouldn't that be the perfect time to deploy Vick, if he could be trusted? I mean you wouldn't wait for our defense to struggle to do that right?

Also, I don't think this game on Sunday will be in doubt either.
