| He blocked real well on the McCoy run. Unforunately he slipped and his man got free but McCoy was by him by then. He is improving every week. Another really good AR draft pick. |

If Maclin turns out to be a stud and we have Jackson and him healthy and wreaking havoc every week for the next 5 or 10 years, it will make my Sundays in the fall a lot more enjoyable.Sports aren't meant to be about hatred. | I already gave my props to maclin for the washington game on his blocking.. he is improving everygame.. and i am so happy he is proving me wrong by getting better... Thats all i ever wanted not to be right.. but for him to prove me wrong |

Looked like he gives good effort and that's all you need. Just stay in front of the guys and don't let them get around you. He's a team player. Don't be afraid of Kolb. It's only progress. Change the QB or Change the OFFENSE! |

Yeah, if he starts making catches like that on a regular basis, he'll draw a lot of coverage and everything else will open up. Jackson could really benefit from Maclin's development. Jackson is the absolute perfect #2 WR but not big enough to be the perfect #1. If Maclin turns out to be a stud, this offense will be just about unstoppable with or without McNabb.Sports aren't meant to be about hatred. The rival loves the game just like you do. I feel like you want your #1 to be versatile. I love Jackson for what he is but he's all speed. He looks awesome but he's probably not a guy with size who can move the chains all day. If Maclin can be that guy, it can open up Jackson deep even more. Let's not ignore the fact that Jackson only has 24 catches. That's only 3.5 per game and under 60 for the year. If I'm gonna call my guy a stud #1, I want 80 to 100 catches every single year. Jackson has not reached that yet. I'm not saying he won't but Maclin has a better shot because he's bigger and stronger. That catch he made in the end zone yesterday was not something I've seen from Jackson yet. Great block to help spring Weaver and a really good job sheilding for DJax on Monday and McCoy yesterday. Of course that catch was off the chart. And remember...he's ONLY a rookie. |

(tongue in cheek) if every ball you catch ends up in the end zone it's impossible to get 80 receptions/yr..... on to Maclin: His size is legit and he absolutely has the work ethic in which i think he will almost become a physical WR in a few yrs. And I dont know if it you can't help but use ur eyes and instantly compare him to DJAX- but he is definetely not as quick and explosive. all that said- he doesn't need to beat #10 off the line. After missing tons of training camp, and seemingly NOT doing the JERRY RICE camp like DJAX did, Maclin- touted as being ultra intelligent, will only get better/crisper at running his routes.
