Dear Greg Edmonson: Your music has made a difference in my life. When I face challenges to my good cheer, I think of the music as Firefly goes into orbit over Persephone in "Shindig." It has never, ever failed to brighten my mood. When I face a sadness, or a loss, I hear the music from Tracy's burial scene in "The Messenger." It comes to me unbidden, because it's expressing better than that damn Albinoni "Adagio" that one hears everywhere the experience I have of sadness. Teo examples from many, including the fact that I sing the theme song at least once a day, with my dogs accompanying me on the howlophone, just to set the tone for the day. You're an artist, a fine one, and your creations make a difference in this world. I'm just one story among Flandom. I'm grateful to you for your gifts to us. Your fan OldFan Dearlove |
