I took delivery of my 300C with All Wheel Drive in March of 2005, and it's been generally a great car.

Only one small problem with the stereo (every 10th start of so nothing but static), but the dealership is  fixing under warranty, so that's not a big issue.

I paid about 34K for it, about $1K less than sticker price, with the only options being AWD, the side curtain airbags package and adjustable pedals.

The car runs like a freight train with corrupting torque, and gets me up my steep driveway through Boston winters.

The syling I don't care for, but the function is fantastic for the price.  This car is 90% of the driving experience and function of a Mercedes E500 4Matic for 60% of the price.  While I could have easily bought the Mercedes, I would feel like a shallow person for paying so much more for so little additional function!
