We had some AWS issues earlier today. They have been fixed. We have monitoring systems in place to allow us to catch and respond to these issues as quickly as humanly possible.
As we've stated previously, these issues were actually not a consequence of the software upgrade that we installed earlier in the week. Rather, the fault was within some infrastructure changes that we made in order to prepare for the anticipated load on AWS over the holiday season.
We are aware that the holiday season is approaching, and we want you to be able to rely on AWS for stable and consistent results. The changes and upgrades that we have put in to place this past week are to ensure just that. We will continue to monitor and tune our systems for stability, reliability, and performance.
