Is it possible to copy an existing aStore from amazon.co.uk to amazon.com? I've joined both the UK and US affiliate schemes and basically want to present the same store to the US and UK markets, but using the appropriate Amazon site. Do you have to recreate the store from scratch? Cheers C

I've read somewhere about exporting data from an aStore.
Not sure how to do it--read through the aStore documentation? |

| I didn`t think it would be possible to export from one to another (country that is). Surely there would be too many differences between products. |

Hi, It's not possible to transfer a UK aStore to the US account. You have to start from scratch - laborious but you have all the information from the previous one so it's easier. The US have different terms like 'apparel (we have clothing)', 'store' (we have shop) and 'shipping' (we have delivery) so you will have to amend some categories and product details. It's better to get 2 domains, 1 co.uk and 1 .com and have them running as separate sites, you will get better search engine results and more traffic that way. Hope this helps, Bri http://www.eKeepFit.co.uk |
