Hi. I checked my link with the link checker, this is the error message I received. Fail: The link above was not tagged or was not a valid Amazon link.
It was a valid amazon link. Can someone help me as I do not understand it was not tagged. How do I tag it?

I hope you can help again Nigel.. I've only got one tracking id and one user id. I took the link off my site then put a new one on. I still get the same message.. Do you know the contact email for amazon I have looked but cannot find it.

Although Nigel has provide you with a link that should explain how the 'Link Checker' functions I wonder if it would be possible for you to post the link that is causing the problem?

The Link Checker checks the tagging for a URL linking to Amazon.co.uk. This tool is intended primarily for people constructing or modifying their own Associate links to Amazon.co.uk. Using the Build Links/Widgets tools when signed in to Associate Central should produce correctly tagging links and widgets. The Link Checker does NOT check the tagging for our served links such as Omakase or Recommended Product Links. It also does NOT check the tagging for Widgets. For served links and widgets, our Associate Central Build Links/Widgets tools will automatically include the Associate ID or Tracking ID that you have selected when you are logged in to Associate Central while building the link or widget.
