Just need to vent here!

In July, I was notified that the most recent payment hadn't gone through, although none of my payment details had changed. On a whim, I decided to check previous payments with my bank, and it turned out that I had *never* been paid earnings from the asociate program, despite 18 payments being 'made' according to my payment history!

I contacted Amazon associates about this, and it was confirmed that "only one payment has been made effective so far" and to check the token numbers of the other payments with my bank. I don't know what exactly token numbers are, and neither do my bank, so I contacted Amazon associates again.

To cut a long story short, I was eventually told that a payment had gone through for £103.59, with no mention of the other payments owed, in fact the reply I received asked me for details of any other outstanding payments, even though I had detailed them in a previous message. And to add insult to injury, the sole payment I had received was for £86.09, not £103.59...

I sent another angry message back, and received an apology, and am currently waiting for a follow up, but to be honest I almost feel like writing the money owed to me off (over £650!). Has anyone else had this kind of issue before, and was it ever resolved?

Simon

Wow, that seems so unusual. I once had a cheque payment for commissions go missing, but I was sent another one a couple of months later as I had to wait a certain period of time to see if it turned up.

If I were you I wouldn`t be writing it off. If it`s owed to you then you should have it.

Just keep on at them and hopefully one day you`ll see your outstanding commissions.

In another thread, Simon posted that this had been resolved.
