I think I would be a bit miffed to receive a book described as Very Good that was held together by tape.

LOL! Dustjacket missing and a corner of the book is completely eaten away.. That critisim works so well auf Deutsch! I love the hyperslap thread!

I'd be happy to translate; haven't practiced my German for years..

1 out of 5: " I understand something different from very good condition. The book arrived in a miserable condition; the pages were held together with sellotape. A cheek to charge anything for such rubbish :((( Never again!!!"

Many thanks for supplying the translation - there was some even more sabre-toothed feedback for WoB on the French Amazon site I spotted a while ago, will have to dredge it up :-)

How's this for an all purpose comment on all their book listings?
