General -  Inventory not showing after hol' setting

Had my inventory on holiday for two days mid-week, activated my books again yesterday morning and they are still not showing.

Phoned CS this morning and they tell me there are a number of people in the same position and the tech' guys are working on it.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Am I missing a flood of sales now the posties are back?

I think there are others in the same situation.  But I am certainly not experiencing a flood of post-strike euphoria from buyers - 2 sales today.

My cojones are large so I didn’t switch off and have been rewarded with 8 sales today and 9 yesterday including a couple of box sets at £50 apiece.

I went to vacation settings last year and it was 2 days before they were reactivated so I won”t be doing that again in a hurry!

On another thread George-Gee is saying he has had his hol setting switched on since Tues eve and is still getting sales !! - NOT a good situation.

Yes, as Jilly says, some of us have had the opposite problem and have been getting sales even though 'switched off' for a few days.

I am just the same position as you. Turned my sales back on 6pm yesterday. In addition 300 listings or so have disappeared, all the remaining ones have not been on sale all of today. In the last hour I got a sale, so I think they are gradually coming back on now, but the majority are still off at the moment. Once they are back I and going to purge and replace to see if the missing 300 come back too!

This morning I was told just to wait. This afternoon they admitted it was a major issue that was affecting many people.

I really didn't need yet another day not earning after the last 3 weeks! But very glad they seem to be coming back on, albeit slowly. Hopefully now we can all go about getting some Christmas sales!

Sellers should not continue to accept passively these continual mess ups and resulting loss of sales from Amazon.  It is time that some form of organised protest was made.

NOTE I have used c**k ups in the recent past quite successfully but had to remove that word from this message as it is now 'objectionable'.  Strange how Amazon is so good at the silly little things (no pun intended) but rubbish at running a good system.

My books have still not returned from holiday as of 8 am and this morning CS confirmed there was a technical problem.

And I would guess the censorship is Prospero rather than Amazon.

My sales are still off too, well over 40 hours since I turned them on. I am getting depressed now!

I turned mine back on on Thursday about 4 pm and they are still not showing.

Spoke to CS twice yesterday who said that there was no problem and they could take up to 36 hours to show. Both times I was told to phone back this morning if they were still not online.

Could someone PLEASE tell me how to get hold of Seller Support on a Saturday morning. The automated phone thing doesn't work as it says they are open only Mon-Fri. I phoned 0800 4961081 - first time got put through to the Philippines who said no-one works on a Saturday in the UK, and certainly no-one in Seller Support. Second call - guy said he would put me through to Seller Support and all I got was a recorded message stating that they were only open Mon-Fri.

Why would they tell me to phone back Saturday if they were not there?? Or perhaps they just wanted to get rid of me!!
