General -  Strike Off - Where are my new orders!

I was very relieved to hear that the RM strike had been called off for the forseeable future. Of course, I expected the orders to flood in as relieved and excited buyers sated their frustrated desires to buy secondhand books. So far nothing. What am I doing wrong? It has been three hours now.

Awww...Sue! Never mind, don't forget it's still Guy Fawkes night so there's probably a lot of people busy with firework displays. A lot of people may not even have heard the news yet. This will be my first Christmas selling on Amazon so it's all unknown to me. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get some sales soon, (am also sending good vibes)!! :-)

But where are the fireworks??? Not one have we seen or heard, and only one brief display on previous nights. Not that I care.

Looks like we've got them all where we live then, we've seen and heard quite a few tonight. ( and my poor little cat Cohen is snuggled up next to me as I write this. Like most animals, he really hates fireworks)! :-(

My son informs me there was one display visible from the front of the house, but that was all. It's very odd because normally the whole village lights up. Maybe they're saving them for election night :-)
