 General -  Sending really heavy parcel to Australia

Hi all.  This is not an Amazon sale, but I thought someone here would know. 

I have to send a large consignment to Australia (1000 magazines, currently packed in 8 boxes each weighing 12.8 kg).   What is the cheapest/best way of doing this?

I recently used Parcel2Go for an 8Kg parcel to Australia.  About £25 cheaper than surface mail and delivered in 5 days.  Also trackable.  My parcel went Fed-Ex I think...

I don't know for sure the cheapest way, Parcel Monkey seem to be cheaper than the others, £60 per parcel (£480 for the lot). It might be worth contacting an export company for so much weight to see if they can do it cheaper.

Sharing a shipping container might be an option, here's a website that organises that sort of thing:

or you could just try googling "share a container to Australia"
or find somewhere to place an advert
