Oops! had replied to Tracy's thread before seeing yours, sorry. Agreed, very odd to edit a single post, while leaving most of it in place.

Perhaps somebody thought my comment about preventable complications would be upsetting for some?  I wouldn't have posted anything that I hadn't already discussed off the boards....

I know that Pat , and Rodger would have talked to you directly. as would, I'm sure, any one who was interested enough to worry about upsetting Rodger

It's all a bit strange.

You made a potentially libelous statement by claiming that Tracy's death was a result of neglect.

There is a difference between discussing that in private and in public.

No, I didn't report your post but understand why it was reported.

No - I did not. I mentioned nothing about neglect at all, nor implied it. I made a factual statement. Someone misinterpreted what I said and misrepresented that in a complaint.

Seems logical. I guess that on this occasion we should thank the sensitivity of the moderators for ONLY removing a single legally-dodgy staement, and not deleting the entire thread which would be the easy option

Preventible?

Looks like a pretty strong implication to me.

If it had a question mark after it, then its not a statement.

Certain complications of bed rest etc are preventable ..... that is a fact. Well researched fact too. Loads of care pathways written about that also, based on the research evidence.
